The Brookfield Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department employs over 150 summer, seasonal, and year-round part-time employees in a variety of positions. These jobs range from skilled or unskilled labor to recreation management, coordination and supervision. If you like to work outside, you might be interested in working in our Parks and Forestry Division to help maintain City parks and facilities. If you would like to give back to your community, we offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities, including working in recreation programs, coaching youth sports, senior community center activities and programs, beautification projects, assisting with community special events, serving as park monitors and more.
The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department will partner with you, your family, your church group, your scout troop, your classroom, or your school club. We collaborate with you in setting up project locations and tasks as well as providing some tools and any needed supervision.
